Within the critical infrastructure sector community there are numerous applications of small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS). These applications use both standard aircraft features, such as flight above situations dangerous to life and health, as well as accessories to advance aircraft capabilities. An sUAS is an intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) tool with the ability to provide management and front-line personnel elements with information previously either unavailable or extremely difficult to obtain in a safe and timely manner.
